UWB Enterprise Factory Positioning System

A real-time factory location system based on UWB ultra-wideband technology, locating people, materials and equipment on the shop floor with 10-30 cm accuracy. It covers real-time monitoring, track replay and geofence alerts in one platform, and integrates seamlessly with MES, access control and video surveillance through standard APIs.

What It Solves

Four blind spots on the factory floor

Materials, equipment and people are always moving, yet managers often can't see them, find them or control them.

Finding items means shouting for someone

Materials, equipment and cranes are scattered around the workshop with no visibility, so finding one item means running across the floor — slow and error-prone.

Safety relies on self-discipline

Hazardous and restricted areas are watched by people; intrusions go unnoticed and accountability comes only after an accident.

Records are done by hand

Tracks, dwell times and entry/exit records are logged by hand — inaccurate, hard to trace and difficult to assign responsibility for.

Systems each doing their own thing

Location data can't connect to MES, access control or video surveillance, creating information silos and making coordinated response impossible.

Core Capabilities

Six modules covering the entire positioning chain

From signal capture to business integration, one system handles real-time workshop location management.

01

Real-time Location Tracking

Load CAD drawings and floor plans with adjustable 1-10 Hz refresh, smooth position correction and at-a-glance tag online/offline status.

02

Historical Track Replay

Query tracks for any time range, play, pause or replay at variable speed, with automatic stay-point marking and monthly archiving.

03

Ranging and point calibration

Map distance measurement, area calculation, and visual anchor coordinate calibration with one-click correction and real-time accuracy error display.

04

Geofence Alerts

Define circular, rectangular or polygonal geofences flexibly with automatic entry/exit alerts pushed via flashing lights, sound, pop-ups and SMS.

05

API integration

Standard HTTP/API protocols output coordinate data to MES, access control and video surveillance, with tiered permissions and replay-attack protection.

06

Three-layer system architecture

Perception layer (anchors + tags) · Transport layer (PoE switches + gateways) · Solver layer (location engine), with a stable, reliable star topology.

System interface

Three core screens for real-time visibility into the workshop

Real-time monitoring, track replay and geofencing with intuitive operation and clear status.

System architecture

Three-layer architecture with a stable, reliable star topology

Sensing → transmission → solving, with clear layers for data and control flows.

01

Perception layer

UWB anchors (fixed, known coordinates) plus UWB tags (the objects being tracked). Available in magnetic, card and fixed form factors, with flashing lights, audible alerts and battery indicators.

02

Transport layer

PoE switches plus gateways handle power, time synchronization and raw timestamp data transmission, with each anchor connected independently rather than in a cascade.

03

Solver / platform layer

The location engine server receives timestamps and uses TWR-TOF two-way ranging to solve 2D coordinates, outputting real-time positions and tracks.
